What Our Music Production Lessons Can Do for You

Improve Your Production Abilities

Music theory, songwriting, arrangement, and sound design make up the essential components of a great song. We'll help you pinpoint your weakest areas of expertise and fill the holes in your production knowledge.

Enhance Your Mixing Skills

Nothing ruins a great song more than a poor mix. Many of our students are musicians who have excellent song ideas but need help bringing their mixes to a professional level. We'll help you achieve commercial quality mixes.

Expand Your Knowledge of Mastering

There's a lot of mystery behind the art of mastering, and many people don't even know what "mastering" truly is. They know they're meant to master their songs, but don't know where to begin. We'll help you understand the purpose of mastering, and walk you through the process of mastering your music.

Help Launch Your Music Career

There are plenty of great artists out there, but the ones that succeed do an incredible job of marketing themselves and creating business opportunities. We'll help you launch your music career by providing you with all the information you need to start making money with your music.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I Need Any Software Before Signing up for Lessons?

We recommend that you own a copy of either Ableton Live or Logic Pro X. All of our instructors are familiar with these programs, which will make it easier for them to assist you. If you use a different digital audio workstation (DAW), you can still sign up for lessons, but we can't guarantee our instructors will be familiar with the program you're using.

Our instructors can teach you a lot of things using stock audio effects, but they may point you in the direction of useful third-party plugins from time to time. These recommendations are optional, and you can purchase them at your own discretion.

Why Is the First Lesson Free?

We want to provide you with a risk-free opportunity to meet one of our instructors and see if the two of you mesh well. The intention is that you find the experience valuable, and decide to sign up for more lessons. However, you are by no means obligated to purchase anything if you book a free lesson.

What Is Zoom?

Zoom is a software that provides remote conferencing services using cloud computing. It combines video conferencing, online meetings, chat, and mobile collaboration; this means you'll be able to to see and hear your instructor in the same way you would with a service like Skype.

Taking it a step further, Zoom allows you to screen share with your instructor, and the two of you will also be able to hear each other's system audio; this makes it easy to look at and listen to what's happening in the other's digital audio workstation (DAW).

How Can I Sign up for More Lessons?
